Change Corps of New Orleans is a proud to offer local community service groups an internet address while they are getting up and running.  The non-profit organizations listed here are not required to endorse us or support our agenda.  This is a simple public service for people who are doing selfless works for the good of our communities in conjunction with our association with United We Serve.

THE MISSION

When athletics are mixed with education, our children have less weight and health issues... they learn team work, have lower levels of depression, develop self-esteem (girls in particular have a more positive body image and incidents of teen pregnancy are reduced).

Our local affiliate of Soccer in the Streets has been working to teach the New Orleans school kids about soccer and encourage them to invest  in their education.  FC NOLA is currently developing a program at Langston Hughes Academy with girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

The ongoing mission is to share the world's game, and thus the world, with as many children in our city as possible.  Donations of training and match-day gear as well as funding are needed, in addition to people who can give their time for coaching.
